Preparing for a general pest service doesn’t require a lot of work, however there are a few easy steps that you can take before a technician visits to optimise the success of the treatment.
- We use industry approved chemicals which are designed to be safe for children and pets, however it is best for you and your family to leave the premise during treatment. We recommend returning to your property a minimum of 2-4 hours post treatment to ensure the chemical has completely dried.
- Please ensure that animals are appropriately restrained or removed from the property during treatment – this is to ensure the safety of our technicians.
- Cover fish tanks and bird cages with a damp towel and switch off any pumps or filters.
- Do a general tidy of your property, this will allow the technician to see any traces of pests such as droppings, nests, webs etc. This will assist in ensuring all pests are treated appropriately.
- Remove furniture and appliances from the walls if possible. This will allow space for a thorough inspection and treatment.
- Close all windows and doors before the treatment beings.
Once the service is completed, you can expect to see dead or dying pests around your property. Our treatment methods include both quick pest knockdown but also a transferable solution that affects pests over a longer period of time.
